3. Bagging of fruits just after fruit set for 10-15 days.</p>
<p>c) Mite<br />
Management:<br />
1. Spraying with Neoron/Tork/Omyties etc. @ 1 ml/liter water at 15 days interval till control.<br />
2. Spraying of Neem oil @ 5 ml/L of water + 5 ml trix at 7 days interval.</p>
<p>d) Leaf minor<br />
Management:<br />
1. Spraying with Cymbush/Pyriphos @ 2 ml/liter water at 10 days interval till control.</p>
<p>e) Epilachna beetle<br />
Management:<br />
1. Collection and destruction of eggs mass, larvae, pupae and also adults at the initial stage of infestation is the best and very effective means for the management of epilachna beetle.<br />
2. Red bug and pentatomid bug is the predators of the larvae of epilachna beetle. Although their predatory rate is not very good but if they can be conserved would be helpful to kill the larvae of epilachna beetle.<br />
3. If less than 20% leaves of the infested plants are damaged, no insecticidal spray is necessary. In case of severe infestation, Diozinon 60 EC or Sumithion or Folithion 50 EC or Malathion57EC @ 2ml/liter water could be spray 2 times at an interval of 10 days.</p>

Management:<br />
1. Covering seedlings with mosquito net for 30-35 days.<br />

4. Carbaryl (Sevin/Carbin/Aerovin) 85 WP or Mipsin 75 WP @ 2g/liter of water can be sprayed in case of severe infestation.</p>
<p>b) Fruit fly<br />
Management:<br />
1. Use of bait traps with synthetic pheromone and MSG.<br />
2. Clean cultivation.<br />
3. Bagging of fruits just after fruit set for 10-15 days.</p>
<p>c) Mite<br />
Management:<br />
1. Spraying with Neoron/Tork/Omyties etc. @ 1 ml/liter water at 15 days interval till control.<br />
2. Spraying of Neem oil @ 5 ml/L of water + 5 ml trix at 7 days interval.</p>
<p>d) Leaf minor<br />
Management:<br />
1. Spraying with Cymbush/Pyriphos @ 2 ml/liter water at 10 days interval till control.</p>
<p>e) Epilachna beetle<br />
Management:<br />
1. Collection and destruction of eggs mass, larvae, pupae and also adults at the initial stage of infestation is the best and very effective means for the management of epilachna beetle.<br />
2. Red bug and pentatomid bug is the predators of the larvae of epilachna beetle. Although their predatory rate is not very good but if they can be conserved would be helpful to kill the larvae of epilachna beetle.<br />
3. If less than 20% leaves of the infested plants are damaged, no insecticidal spray is necessary. In cse of severe infestation, Diozinon 60 EC or Sumithion or Folithion 50 EC or Malathion 57 EC @ 2ml/liter water could be spray 2 times at an interval of 10 days.</p>
